What do we offer?

We offer an enourmous and diverse range of activities that members can benefit from – from performance to volunteering to professionally-run workshops (and not to mention the odd party!), you’re sure to find something that appeals to you !

The UCLU Drama Society can be joined directly by any student at University College London, or as an Affiliate Member by any other university student. If you’re not at university, you can, of course, still come and watch our productions!

There are many diverse and exciting opportunities for members of the Drama Society – These include Acting, Directing, Producing, Costume Design, Makeup Design, Props, and various other activities linked to performance. No matter what you’re level of experience – the best way to learn is to try! Just come down to our auditions and let us know what you’re interested in getting involved in, or contact us at drama.society@ucl.ac.uk.

Other than that, we also organise Theatre Trips, often at discounted and/or subsidised prices, to make the most of the thriving Theatre scene we have access to in London! We will also be hosting parties and socials for members during the year. For more information, or for suggestions, contact the social secretary at drama.society@ucl.ac.uk.

We now also organise Weekly Workshops which are free to members, and will be run by professional companies. These are due to take place Tuesdays 5-7pm. More information and the list of companies will be published closer to the beginning of term! If you are interested in providing a workshop or want to find out more, contact the workshops coordinator at drama.society@ucl.ac.uk

If you’re interested in Volunteering, the Drama Soc has a volunteering coordinator, and we hope to be able to give back to the community over the course of the year. For more information, contact the volunteering coordinator at drama.society@ucl.ac.uk.
